ARI can be understood as the ‘social network’ of an activity in a project schedule. ARI can be helpful in Schedule Review, Schedule Quality & Compliance, Forensic Scheduling, Variation Analysis, and Construction Dispute Management (CDM).
ARI data can be helpful in a multitude of ways:
- Help in validation of activity sequencing
- Help in validation of variation events, fragnets, and their impact on existing activity sequence
- A greater level of detail for activity relationships, if the schedule needs to be re-created for any reason.
- Similar to Critical Path Analysis, and Core Path Analysis; ARI Analysis can be used to compare benchmark ARI (Baseline) to subsequent versions. Any undocumented changes to the ARI in subsequent schedule versions can potentially uncover Schedule Quality & Compliance issues such as tempering / data manipulation issues.
Simple innovations such as the ARI, and ARI Analysis can help in obtaining higher Quality Assurance, and Data Reliability in prospective Scheduling; and can help in uncovering Schedule Quality & Compliance issues during Forensic Scheduling.
Innovations save time.
